WORLD SPACE WEEK ACTIVITY in School No.195 Bucharest was Space Explorers coordinated by Physics teacher Florentina Iofciu.

Activities:
-Rocketry : students made paper rockets, bubble rockets and a NASA model Water Rocket launched on Saturday 10th of October. -Models on the Cities of the Future made by paper, plastic, wood and Lego pieces. -a Solar System Model made by coloured balls -posters -paintings -a volcano on a new discovered planet.
In the classroom we discussed about our Solar System, planets, rocket launch , how astronauts live in space on ISS and the possibility to find life on other planets.
Preparing for this activity students used : -NASA materials and tools from Space Academy for Educators 2007 Space Camp and Rocket center in Huntsville Alabama. -Materials from CSET Center for Science Education and Training IFIN Magurele

Grade VI.B: -Rockets made by recycling materials:Bogdan Popa,Teodor Nitu,Andreea Ursea,Cristian Ercus ,Ana Maria Marin Bogdan Popa launched his water rocket in the presence of all his mates -Projects: Andreea Cinta Bine made an erupting volcano on a strange planet. Teodora Tatu made an electric circuit for a rocket. Ana Maria Dragan, Andra Mihaela Onas,and Ioana Matei launched a rocket from the Earth to land on a very far planet.
